PE Bag & Sack Production

Polyethylene bags and sacks are the product group Poşetsan Date has produced without interruption for forty-six years. At our 4,000 m² plant in Gaziosmanpaşa we melt the granulate on our own extrusion lines, convert it into film and bring it to size on our cutting and sealing units. Because the packaging is made under one roof from raw material to dispatch, size, thickness and film structure come from your requirement rather than from a fixed catalogue.

The choice of material follows what the pack has to do. LDPE gives a soft, flexible body. LLDPE offers higher puncture and tear resistance at the same thickness; for heavy or sharp-cornered parts, changing the material is usually more economical than adding thickness. HDPE can be produced thin, which lowers the unit cost and suits high-volume work.

The body shape is chosen the same way: flat bag, side-gusseted sack, with or without handles. Clear, coloured and opaque production are all possible, and food-contact grade material is used where the pack will touch food. On request, logo, product information and warning marks are printed in multi-colour flexo at the same plant.

To quote, we need the width and length, the approximate micron, the monthly or annual quantity and what the pack will hold; we settle the right film structure together from there.
